Colin Ashby Portraits: Creating Special Keepsakes

Colin Ashby Portraits is situated in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside viilage of  North Kilworth. We pride ourselves in offering a professional service to clients requiring artwork to be created, and it is our goal to make your experience with us as pleasant as possible.

Through Colin’s vast experience in the use of pastels, graphite or charcoal, he will capture the personality and character of your precious pet, making it the perfect gift that will last for many years.

Besides painting and sketching pet portraits, Colin Ashby offers a wide range of artwork, from dog portraits, cat portraits, horse portraits, portraits of people, building sketches and any other subject that the client may wish to discuss.

Should you wish to have a face to face conversation with Colin Ashby about the artwork that you would like him to create, you would be most welcome to discuss over a cup of tea at North Kilworth Marina.

Visit Us at Market Harborough

Colin Ashby Portraits has a stand at the Market in Market Harborough most Fridays, where you can see samples of his work displayed, size and medium options, and meet face to face with the artist.

Easy Ways to Get in Touch

It may be more convenient to send an email or WhatsApp message with attachments of photographs. Whatever suits you, the client, we will do whatever it takes to meet your needs.

Presentation & Framing Options

All artwork will be mounted and wrapped in cellophane, making it perfectly presentable to give as a gift without the expense of framing. However, if you would prefer your pet portrait to be framed, this is also possible.

Timescales & Pricing

Pet Artwork takes between 2–3 weeks to complete, depending on the time of year, but we aim to accommodate, should you require it sooner.

Prices are very reasonable, ranging from £67 for a size A5 pastel portrait, £97 for a pastel portrait sized A4 (8.3″ × 11.7″), to £157 for a size A3 (11.7″ × 16.5″) portrait.

The Charcoal and Graphite Portraits are a little less.

Delivery Information

Postage and packaging is £10 to anywhere in the U.K. and will be sent via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery.
